Master's Programme
The Master's degree programme in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology prepares you for demanding research and development activities in industry or science through its application-oriented and scientifically sound education.
Languages of instruction and admission requirements
For the following German-taught or bilingual (German/English) specializations:
- Automation
- Electromobility Systems
- Electronics
- Energy Systems technology
- High-Frequency Sensors and Systems
Applicants must, in addition to the subject-specific admission requirements, provide proof of sufficient language proficiency in both German (C1 according to the CEFR) and English (B2 according to the CEFR).
For the following English-taught specializations:
- Biomedical Engineering
- Communication Systems
- Engineering Physics
Applicants must, in addition to the subject-specific admission requirements, provide proof of English language proficiency (B2 according to the CEFR).
At a glance
- Standard period of study:
4 semesters - Degree: Master of Science (equivalent to Dipl.-Ing.)
- Start: Winter or summer semester
- Language: German only, German and English, or English only(depending on the specialization)
- Admission: admission-free
