Our Study specialisations are closely linked to our research activities and provide an excellent foundation for a career in industry and research, as well as for subsequent doctoral studies.
The study Study specialisations of the Master’s program in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology comprise a total of 120 credit points (CP), divided into compulsory courses (30 CP), elective courses (30 CP), free elective courses (30 CP), and the master’s thesis (30 CP). This structure allows you to integrate your individual academic interests and professional career goals into your studies.

Information on teaching languages and requirements
For the following German-language or bilingual (German/English) study specialisations:
- Automation
- Electromobility Systems
- Electronics
- Energy Systems Technology
- High-Frequency Sensors and Systems
in addition to subject-specific qualifications, sufficient language skills in German (C1 according to CEFR) and English (B2 according to CEFR) must be demonstrated.
For the English-language study specialisations:
- Biomedical Engineering
- Communication Systems
- Engineering Physics
in addition to subject-specific qualifications, English language skills (B2 according to CEFR) must be demonstrated.
