Doctoral Committee
The Doctoral Committee decides on all matters concerning compliance with the doctoral regulations; it may delegate the handling of day-to-day business to its chairperson. It serves as the appeals body within the meaning of the Administrative Court Rules of Procedure.
Duties
The Doctoral Committee has the following specific duties:
- Deciding on admission as a doctoral candidate,
- Deciding on admission to the doctoral program,
- appointment of the dissertation examiners,
- in the event of failure, setting a deadline for the retake examination,
- Decision on termination and conclusion of the doctoral proceedings
Meetings
The meetings of the doctoral committee are not open to the public.
