In order to support scientists affected by the war in the Ukraine, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at Ruhr-Universität Bochum provides funding for research stays of up to 6 months to be hosted by one of our research groups. We provide funding for scientists of all career levels, from undergraduate students to (post-)doctoral candidates to senior researchers and visiting professors, ranging from € 800 up to € 3,000 per month.
Our faculty carries out cutting edge research in various areas such as plasma technology, sensors, communication technology, energy technology, medical engineering and laser technology. State-of-the-art laboratories and campus-lifestyle university enable interdisciplinary cooperation to be the core of our university. We frequently co-operate with national and international partners. The working languages in our faculty are German and English.
