As of 01.01.2017, two new employees strengthen the team of the Chair of Integrated Systems - Jan Schöpfel and Alexander Orth! After both have successfully obtained their Master's degree in December, they are now joining the research team.
Jan Schöpfel complements the team in the radar4FAD project and is researching circuits and system concepts for radar chips for use in future fully autonomous vehicles. The demand for significantly increased reliability for this application is to be achieved on the sensor side through redundant circuits with higher measurement rates, stability and increased resolution.
Alexander Orth complements the team in the Ravis-3D project and is researching system concepts and demonstrators to support blind people in finding their way in unfamiliar spaces and urban scenarios. This poses a challenge with regard to the miniaturization of scanning radar sensors in order to enable wearable radar devices in the future.
We are looking forward to an exciting collaboration with you. Great that you are here!
