Working and Research Groups

Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Jürgen Oehm

Our working group aims at developing and optimising new concepts for circuits and systems. Starting point for the search for analogous and digital system solutions are standard CMOS semiconductor technologies, whose minimal structure sizes follow the current state-of-the-art technology. With the help of computerised methods, we work on overcoming the limits of known standards to show new paths and possibilities. For this purpose, parasitic effects are to be minimised or to be constructively used together with other physical effects.

The key issue of electromobility is still the limited possibility to accumulate electric energy in the vehicles. The research group KFZ-Elektronik (Automobile Electronics) develops and produces special test systems for energy storage system, such as lithium-ion batteries, in consideration of the automobile boundary conditions. Additionally, the research group conducts complex studies.
