Electronic Materials and Nanoelectronics

The "Research Group of Electronic Materials and Nanoelectronics" is part of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology. Main activities pursue the development and application of technologies for fabricating nanoscale semiconductor and metal structures, where main emphasis is placed on novel device concepts exploiting ballistic transport, quantum phenomena, single-electron effects, and optical properties of semiconductor structures.
