Student Advising Service

Our student advising Service will be happy to support you and advise you on all topics related to our degree programmes! We offer individual counselling during our office hours and put on informative events (see below, at "Events") about various topics before and over the course of studies.

We attend to the concerns of

• pupils who are interested in our degree programmes, e.g. during visits to schools, at study fairs as well as individual advising,
• new students, e.g. during the preparatory course or during the introduction days at the beginning of the degree programme,
• current students, e.g. if they need help with organising their studies, with planning a stay abroad or if they have questions about study contents.

Due to the current situation, Ruhr University Bochum and all its facilities work in conditions which abide by the current measures against the coronavirus. Of course our student advising service is affected by this as well. For support in your studies, you can contact us as follows:
