IT-Engineering (B.Sc.)
Bachelor's program
In the practice-oriented Bachelor's program IT-Engineering you engage intensively with various areas of information processing. How do mobile networks work? In what way are data transmitted over the Internet, and what significance do technologies such as 6G have? Communication technology is a central building block of our modern, connected world. Furthermore, IT-Engineering plays a key role in the development of autonomous vehicles and their advanced sensor technology. In these vehicles, sensor data from cameras, radar and other systems are combined to create a comprehensive picture of the surroundings.

Shape the future

Shape the future
In the IT-Engineering study program, interested students learn through a holistic perspective to design hardware systems and program them with the necessary software.
Information technology increasingly shapes everyday life—from smart home systems and autonomous driving to robotics and automation. Students learn how these systems work and which software and algorithms are required to ensure that smart devices and production systems operate reliably.

Prof. Dr. Aydin Sezgin co-designed the new IT-Engineering study program.
