Voluntary Academic Year
The Voluntary Academic Year (FWJ) is a voluntary orientation internship for recent school graduates.
For one year, you can explore university studies: attend lectures as a guest student, get to know different fields of study, and find out which academic and career path suits you.

What should I bring to be successful in my studies?
Do I need top grades in math and physics to succeed in the bachelor’s program?
NO – in your Bachelor’s program, you will learn all the essential fundamentals, you can attend preparatory courses before starting your studies, and during your studies, you can learn alongside other students in our tutoring sessions! Additionally, our academic advisors are available to assist you with any questions or challenges you may face.
What you should bring: a basic mathematical understanding and an interest in logical thinking. However, a specific grade is not required.
