The cooperation between RUB and the Universidad Nacional de Colombia (UNAL) in Bogotá has been in place since 2020. It enables a double bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology: the first part of the program is completed at UNAL in Bogotá, while the final year of study and the bachelor’s thesis take place at RUB. The program is supported by DAAD scholarships, co-financed by our partner VW Infotainment.
This cooperation also offers RUB students the opportunity to study in Bogotá – a fantastic chance for personal development, exciting adventures, and valuable experiences. Currently, a German student is also taking advantage of this opportunity and is studying at UNAL in Bogotá.
Our new students are currently attending the intensive language course to prepare thoroughly for the start of the semester. Starting in September, they will also begin their research assistant (Hiwi) positions at our chairs.
To get to know each other, our student advising service organized an excursion on Friday, September 5: the group cycled to the LWL Industrial Museum Henrichshütte, where they took part in a guided tour.
