Deutschlandstipendium – Application Period 2026/27
At the start of the summer semester, this year’s application round for the Deutschlandstipendium also begins. Students have the opportunity to apply, while sponsors can enable a scholarship through their support.
The Deutschlandstipendium at RUB
The Deutschlandstipendium supports high-performing and committed students. The funding amounts to 300 euros per month and allows students to focus more intensively on their studies while continuing their social engagement. Eligible students include those with outstanding academic achievements who additionally demonstrate social commitment or overcome significant personal challenges.

Information for Sponsors
The Deutschlandstipendium is funded half by the federal government and half by private donors. A full scholarship for one year can already be enabled with €1,800, which is doubled by federal funds.
Donors make a direct contribution to supporting young talent and strengthen the connection between university, business, and society. They accompany students on their journey and help foster future specialists and leaders.
A contribution is possible either by covering an annual scholarship or through individual donations.
