Deutschlandstipendium 2026: Commitment that shapes the future

|   Aktuelle Meldungen

On January 28, Ruhr University Bochum honored its Deutschlandstipendium scholarship recipients as part of the 2026 Deutschlandstipendium Award Ceremony.

Following the official presentation of certificates by the sponsors, a reception provided space for personal conversations and new connections. The exchange between scholarship holders and sponsors is a central element of the Deutschlandstipendium and often extends well beyond the funding period itself.

In his address, Rector Martin Paul highlighted the university’s commitment to fostering talented and dedicated students. He expressed his particular gratitude to the more than 100 sponsors who currently support around 250 scholarship holders – a strong sign of shared responsibility and commitment. Eight students from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology are receiving a Deutschlandstipendium funded by various sponsors.

The 2026 award ceremony once again highlighted a key message: Investing in young people means investing in a future shaped by talent, responsibility, and engagement.
