Today we had a visit from the little “Wackelzähnen”, the pre-school children from UniKids. They had the chance to find out that many wondrous things in electrical engineering fit into a small suitcase. From medical technology to electric cars, a lot is being developed at our university that inspires both young and old. An introduction to the efficiency of LEDs, which turn 50 out of every 100 rubber beads into light, was of course also included. Percentage calculation that inspires! Together with our employees, we then soldered to create a mouse circuit board that will remind us of this day at home. With its own LEDs, of course. It's efficient! All 22 young engineers were awarded the so-called “soldering horse” for their successful soldering. Now that's a pass rate!
For our part, we were very happy about the visit!
