Marvin Heller was born in 1992 in Schwerte, Germany. He studied electrical engineering and information technology at TU Dortmund University until 2015 when he switched to Ruhr-Universität Bochum for his master studies. There he specialized in medical engineering and worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Medical Engineering.
Marvin Heller graduated as Master of Science in 2017 with his Master‘s Thesis on the “Investigation of Beamforming Algorithms for Artifact Reduction of Ultrasound Imaging in Acoustically Inhomogeneous Media“.
In February 2018, Marvin Heller joined the Chair of Medical Engineering as PhD candidate. His research focuses on ultrasound reconstruction methods and algorithms which solve the nonlinear inverse scattering problem.
