Teaching

Diagnostic imaging techniques are important for the non-invasive and sensitive detection of pathological tissue changes and functional disorders as well as the monitoring of therapeutic progress. Their further development is characterized by interdisciplinary cooperation (engineering and natural sciences, medicine). Special emphasis is placed on signal and image processing, machine learning and artificial intelligence. This is reflected in our courses, where the knowledge imparted is relevant not only specifically for medical imaging, but generally for signal processing in many technical fields.
